Crustaceans are commercially important seafood resources contributing significantly to human nutrition. The present study assessed the diversity and abundance of marine crabs along the Coromandel Coast of Cuddalore district, southeast coast of India, across five selected landing centers from August 2024 to June 2025. The collected data were analyzed using Shannon diversity index to evaluate species diversity.
