Binary precatalyst system Nd (AlMe3) 4/Et2AlCl and heterogenized single-component variants, such as Nd (AlMe3) 4@Et2AlCl@MCM-48 (see picture) efficiently transform isoprene to a high-cis polymer (>99 %).
