This study examines civic engagement (CE) and well-being among Korean American older immigrants aged 50+ (N = 115) in the Washington, DC area. Informal CE was associated with stronger social support, more positive views on aging , and a greater sense of meaning and purpose. In contrast, poorer health status and a weaker sense of belonging were linked to social isolation, while social disconnection and poor health status were associated with depressed mood. Findings highlight the importance of informal CE in promoting productive aging and well-being among Korean American older immigrants.
