Abstract Yttrium-90 radiation segmentectomy (RS) is well established for hepatocellular carcinoma, but less defined for hepatic metastases. This review evaluates current evidence on dosimetric approaches, clinical outcomes of RS for metastatic disease, and tumor–absorbed dose thresholds for radioembolization in metastatic liver disease.
