Describes a new fluidic gas meter with a digital output which is highly repeatable and stable for long periods. The meter is a fluidic feedback oscillator whose frequency of oscillation is a function of volume flow rate. The principles of operation, method of construction and some test results are described. A prototype of this meter has been in use for over a year to check the calibration of new and repaired domestic gas meters.
