Parameters of the fast rotating magnetic white dwarf in the close low-mass binary system LAMOST J024048. 51 + 195226. 9 are discussed. Following an accretion-driven spin-up scenario we evaluate the surface magnetic field of the white dwarf to be about 35 MG. Under these conditions, in the current epoch the white dwarf should spin down by the pulsar mechanism at an expected rate of 2 10^-14 s s ^-1.
