Population

Patients with Desmoplastic Small Round Cell Tumor (DSRCT) of the ovary

Intervention

Complete surgical resection, adjuvant chemotherapy, and radiotherapy

Outcome

Prolonged survival and proper quality of life

Multimodal therapy including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy is recommended for managing DSRCT of the ovary to improve survival and quality of life.

Abstract

Although the best therapy for patients with DSRCT has yet to be determined, combining complete surgical resection, adjuvant chemotherapy, and radiotherapy is required to prolong survival and to achieve proper quality of life.
