In the COVID-19 outbreak, the promotion of the use of Andrographis Paniculata (ADG) as a complementary treatment of mild COVID-19 patients has been announced in Thailand. This paper aims to present an automated system for ADG plating on the basis of smart agriculture platform using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. The proposed platform is designed for entirely planting throughout the ADG’s lifecycle divided into three experimental stages and able to process time-dependent heterogeneous information on the edge layer as a pre-processing, i.e., temperature, soil moisture, light exposure, acidic/basic pH value, soil fertility, and near-infrared spectrum. To determine the optimal condition of volumetric water content (VWC), the rule-based decision support system (DSS) model has been applied on the cloud layer as a final decision. The effectiveness of the proposed platform in terms of three stages lifecycle ADG plating and a cost estimation have also been presented.
