Stress at work has become a prevalent problem in contemporary businesses and can have a big impact on worker productivity. The goal of this study is to comprehend how employee performance and workplace stress are related. It seeks to pinpoint the main causes of stress, such as excessive workloads, pressing deadlines, a lack of support, and ambiguous job descriptions, and investigate how these elements affect workers' productivity and calibre of work. The data was analysed using statistical methods such as ANOVA, T-test, and percentage analysis. The results show that while mild stress might occasionally enhance performance, high levels of stress have a detrimental effect on employee motivation, focus, and productivity. The study emphasises the value of good stress management techniques, appropriate communication, and a supportive work environment. It comes to the conclusion that achieving overall organisational success, boosting productivity, and enhancing employee well-being all depend on lowering workplace stress.
