urbanita is an urban design practice through which the civic condition defined as urbanĭtas is tested within real contexts. Operating at the intersection of spatial configuration, institutional frameworks, and collective life, the work situates design within the Human Environment as a field of relational interaction. Developed between 2015 and 2023, the practice consists of situated interventions that structure interaction across heterogeneous actors, including public administrations, private stakeholders, and citizens. Through processes of mediation, co-production, and spatial articulation, projects create conditions for coordination and shared interpretation within specific urban environments. This research positions practice as a mode of inquiry, showing how legibility, thresholds, and reciprocity can be activated through design. Grounding conceptual frameworks in direct engagement demonstrates how urban conditions can be interpreted, negotiated, and transformed.
