This paper introduces Translational Opacity Theory (TOT), a structural account of why the process connecting any origin to any output is, in principle, inaccessible to observation. The framework proposes that this opacity is not a cognitive or epistemic limitation but a structural condition holding across all modes of existence. Submitted for peer review.
