This project presents the design of an efficient Oper- ational Transconductance Amplifier (OTA) using current generator circuits in the Cadence Virtuoso environment. The design uses CMOS technology and focuses on achieving high gain, improved transconductance, and low power consumption. Current mirrors are employed to provide stable biasing and enhance output resistance and linearity. Cascode structures are used to further improve performance by reducing channel length modulation effects. The OTA is simulated to analyze parameters such as gain, bandwidth, power consumption, and CMRR. The results demonstrate improved efficiency and stability compared to conventional designs, making the proposed OTA suitable for analog and mixed-signal applications such as filters, oscillators, and data converters.
