The New Korean Translation, published in 2024 is so different from the existing Korean Bibles that a kind of manual is needed. This article tries to offer some practical suggestions on how to use it effectively. Most important is to read the New Korean Translation aloud. The Bible is originally to read aloud before the congregation (Neh 8:3, 8, 18; 13:1; Luk 4:16; Rev 1:3) and even alone (Psa 1:2; Act 8:30). Moreover, the New Korean Translation ist especially fitted to read in various ways according to the literary character and structure of the text (narrative, tale, decree, debate, poem, prophecy, antiphony etc.) and according to speakers (narrator, God, patriarch, Moses, people, prophet, judge, king, etc.) Secondly, it is meaningful to reproduce the texts of the New Korean Translation in diverse forms (digital rewriting of the whole Bible, recording or/and producing video of reading the texts etc.) using multimedia means and artificial intelligence. All kinds of reproduction can be useful materials for everyday life of Christians and also for education, pastoral care and mission of the church. Thirdly, it is recommended to recite or reformulate creatively the contents of the New Korean Translation in one’s own words. Biblical drama, photos, novels, poems, comics, songs, and picture/illustrated books can be produced. Fourthly, leaders of local churches can encourage the church-members and offer programmes for them, above all the children and youths to engage in reading and using the Bible on their own initiative. Fifthly, it would be helpful for those who lead the Bible study or are preparing sermons, if they give heed to the new expressions of the New Korean Translation. Sixthly, those who are interested in studying the Bible alone or in group can profit by paying attention especially to the inverted sentences of the New Korean Translation which correspond to the original language of the biblical texts in order to make the intent of the text still clearer. Seventhly, from other new features of the New Korean Translation readers can learn to make better their own habit of dialog, sermon, speech, discussion, debate and everyday life!
