Investigating the effect of pressure and visualization of cryogenic boiling is essential for establishing massive liquid hydrogen(LH2) supply chain. Pool boiling experiments for LH2 and liquid nitrogen(LN2) were conducted under several pressure conditions. Results showed that pressurization enhances the boiling heat transfer coefficient of LH2 and LN2. For LH2 under 0.1-0.3 MPaA condition, pressurization also enhances the critical heat flux. The effect of pressurization on boiling heat transfer of LH2 was well organized with Rohsenow Correlation. Whereas empirical coefficient in Rohsenow coefficient had a dependency on pressure for LN2. Bubble inception, growth and detachment on a heated wall was visualized for LH2 and LN2.
