Intervention

Sacubitril/valsartan uptitration from 50 to 200 mg twice daily over 3 weeks

Comparator

Sacubitril/valsartan uptitration from 50 to 200 mg twice daily over 6 weeks

Tolerability profile and attainment of target dosesafety

A more gradual 6-week uptitration of sacubitril/valsartan maximizes target dose attainment in heart failure patients previously on low-dose ACEI/ARB.

Abstract

Initiation/uptitration of sacubitril/valsartan from 50 to 200 mg twice daily over 3 or 6 weeks had a tolerability profile in line with other HF treatments. More gradual initiation/uptitration maximized attainment of target dose in the low-dose ACEI/ARB group.
