A galactocele is a benign clinical condition with cystic dilatation of the mammary gland, which contains either milk or viscous material produced from transformed milk. It usually occurs in young women after they have lactated. The presence of benign breast disease in male children is extremely uncommon. We managed a boy with left breast swelling. Based on high-resolution ultrasound, a left galactocele was suspected. The patient was successfully managed with needle aspiration. Because of its rarity and interesting clinical presentation, we present a review of the relevant literature.
