Abstract: This paper explores the strategic integration of digital technologies within the oil and gas value chain. It focuses on the transition from traditional mechanical operations to cyber-physical systems (CPS) and digital ecosystems. The study highlights the role of cloud computing, edge computing, and big data analytics in optimizing drilling operations and infrastructure maintenance. Special attention is given to the impact of digital maturity on reducing carbon footprints and increasing the lifespan of industrial assets.
