Moreover, weight loss reverses the effects of obesity on MMe macrophage inflammation and TNBC tumor formation. Our studies implicate MMe macrophage accumulation in mammary adipose tissue as a mechanism for promoting TNBC stemness and tumorigenesis during obesity.
