This book is made up of the papers presented at a Symposium conducted by the Mathematics Research Centre, United States Army, at the University of Wisconsin in April 1961, together with one paper which was not completed in time for the Symposium. The various papers deal with the propagation, scattering and diffraction, etc., of electromagnetic waves.
