This research highlights the impact of judicial interpretations and justifications embedded in constitutional rulings on achieving a balance between federal authorities in Iraq. Constitutional justice plays an active role in maintaining the constitutional boundaries for exercising powers by federal authorities and preventing any overreach. The role of these interpretations is not limited to achieving balance; it extends to becoming a fundamental factor in developing the governing constitutional principles of the political process and aligning with the modern concept of democracy. This role is manifested through the practical judgments issued by the Federal Supreme Court in protecting the constitutional boundaries of the powers within the legislative, executive, and judicial branches. To achieve the intended objective of this study, we focused on evaluating the judicial decisions issued by the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq and analyzing the interpretations included in their legal reasoning. The study employs an analytical approach to assess the effectiveness of these interpretations.
