Today, the topic of religious fundamentalism has formed the focus of political and intellectual discussions, in addition to religious ones, due to its penetration into all aspects of life and the attempt to expand at the expense of reality, including modernity, modernization, development, and globalization. Fundamentalism imposed a specific pattern of thinking and behavior that goes beyond rationality and sound scientific thinking that we seek - as a context for the renaissance of the Islamic nation -, This thinking forced her to adopt harshness, excessive extremism, and tendencies towards antiquity in her effort to reform the nation and restore what had been distorted by the historical turning points in the history of Muslims. She saw that religious reform could only be achieved through this vital approach, we mean jihad and fighting, or what was called religious violence. While we believe that there is a close connection between the title of our research (Fundamentalism and Religious Reform) and the triple meaning of the concepts (renewal - discourse - religion) related to the necessity of reconsidering - not the verbal functions, but rather the nature of the relationship between them, and the religious has a distinctive specificity in the Arab and Islamic space because it is the extended space that crystallized. The discourse has existed over a long historical period and has acquired its own authority, which has begun to take root behind the sanctity and transcendence of the “religious” in the form of a purely “ideological hierarchy.”
