This study aims to analyze differences in perceived values of the Kim Baek-bong Fan Dance designated as an intangible cultural heritage and recognized for its well-preserved original form according to the characteristics of Korean dance majors. A survey was conducted with 260 participants who had either learned the dance through various educational methods or had experience observing it. The results are as follows. First, analysis by age revealed a significant difference only in historical value. Second, analysis by educational level showed significant differences in both historical and educational values. Third, no significant differences were found across all value dimensions. Fourth, analysis by learning experience indicated significant differences in all value dimensions except for educational value. These findings suggest that the perceived value of the Kim Baek-bong Fan Dance is not understood as a single dimension but rather reflects varying perceptual structures depending on age, educational level, career, and learning experience. While general value recognition tends to be high even among those with lower age, educational level, and experience, a deeper appreciation of the dance’s unique and intrinsic values can be further enhanced through institutionalized education centered around preservation associations.
