ABSTRACT Goatpox is an economically important transboundary disease affecting goats in Bangladesh, which is primarily managed through a live-attenuated goatpox vaccine. Here, we report the complete genome sequence of a Bangladesh-derived goatpox virus (GPV) vaccine strain generated through serial cell culture passages.
