This review paper explores recent security mechanisms used in cloud computing environments between 2023 and 2026. As cloud technologies continue to expand across industries, ensuring data security, privacy, and system reliability has become increasingly important. The paper discusses key security approaches including data encryption techniques, access control models, authentication methods, and intrusion detection systems used to protect cloud infrastructures from cyber threats and unauthorized access. Recent research trends and advancements in cloud security are also analyzed to understand their effectiveness in maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability of cloud-based services. This study aims to provide students, researchers, and developers with a clear overview of modern cloud security practices, current challenges, and possible future directions in cloud computing security research.
