The sharing of software through public repositories is crucial for making sure that methodological innovations are usable by others. Software has been developed as part of the project to allow streaming of selected channels or processing outputs through the SeedLink protocol, which makes those streams immediately accessible for ingestion into EIDA archives and to be integrated into monitoring workflows. In geoscience, software development focussed on automatic picking of P and S arrival times of local and regional earthquakes, and extension of an existing standard software platform to be able to process DAS data. In oceanography, prototype software was developed to analyse the imprint of oceanic surface gravity waves on DAS cables in the shallow near-shore section and extract information on wave height extrema, dominant periods and apparent current direction.
