Environmental physics is defined here as the study of the physical processes which determine how living organisms respond to their environment. After a brief review of some topics from the gas laws, transport phenomena and radiation physics, the bulk of the book deals with radiation exchange and heat, mass and momentum transfer as applicable to biological systems.
