The article is devoted to the consideration of stylistic means in the English sports discourse. The paper presents the results of studying the stylistic means, by which the expression of emotions in sports discourse is carried out. The English sports reports are selected as the research material. The authors emphasize that the English sports discourse is characterized by a wide range of stylistic means used at the lexical and syntactic levels. In addition, the diverse use of stylistic resources in sports discourse is substantiated by their various functional orientations.
