This article examines the representation of love and social class in the novels of Jane Austen through a literary and socio-cultural analysis. The study explores how Austen portrays romantic relationships within the rigid class structure of eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English society. Particular attention is given to the interaction between personal emotions, economic interests, and social expectations in novels such as Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Emma. The article analyzes Austen’s criticism of class inequality, marriage traditions, and women’s limited social opportunities while highlighting her emphasis on morality, intelligence, and emotional sincerity in human relationships. The findings demonstrate that Austen uses love stories not only as romantic narratives but also as a means of reflecting the social realities and values of her time.
