This note documents an original framework currently under development. The coreidea and physical intuition belong entirely to Abdullah Baran. The model is not yet complete — open questions are explicitly marked. This document serves as a priority record for the concept of mechanical impedance Zₘech = Fₐctive + i. Fₚassive. Def: Zₘech = m. aₘech Classical Newtonian mechanics eliminates reaction and equilibrium forces before writing equations of motion — discarding the physical information they carry. This note proposes that such forces are not zero but passive: real forces that act but cannot produce motion because they are geometrically blocked. We introduce the concept of mechanical impedance Zmech = Factive + i. Fpassive, in direct analogy with electrical impedance Z = R+i. X. The active part drives acceleration; the passive (imaginary) part represents stress, pressure, and stored elastic energy. Newton sees only the real part. The imaginary part is where blocked forces, internal stresses, and reaction partners live.
Abdullah Baran (Mon,) studied this question.
