Abstract

Contemporary Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems suffer from three structural limitations: fixed retrieval thresholds, opacity to hardware state, and vulnerability to prompt-injection attacks. We present Ecou Atemporal, a five-layer cognitive AI architecture integrating the Organic Memory Controller (OMC) — a feedback loop coupling physical server telemetry (CPU, RAM, temperature) to retrieval temperature. The system includes Zero-Trust cryptographic forensics (SHA-256 chained log), Egregore defensive dreams, and async Saga Pattern memory crystallization across PostgreSQL, Neo4j, and Qdrant. Running in production at ozana.online for 4 months, CPU-only, AMD EPYC 7502P, 512GB RAM, under 35% load.
