The article analyzes changes in approaches to the provision of subsidies in agriculture, discusses the issues of improving the mechanisms of state support for the agro-industrial complex. The results obtained can be used in the development of a strategy for sustainable development of agricultural enterprises, in the development of a regulatory framework for the provision of subsidies to support agriculture.
