GART (Geometry-Aware Resolution Transition) is an adaptive runtime architecture that treats computational resolution as a dynamic resource rather than a fixed global state. The system allocates representational detail only where interaction pressure demands it, via a Smoothstep Sigmoid transition function f(R). Validated across 3 domains: compute/thermal (−93.4% load reduction), battery management (wins 3/4 metrics vs Adaptive BMS), and rocket propulsion control (collapse prevented in cryogenic leak scenario).
