Abstract Recent measurements of cospectra for stress at different sites show no significant difference when plotted in similarity coordinates, but vary with stability only. Further, there is no significant difference between heat‐flux and stress cospectra when plotted in such coordinates. Cumulative cospectra derived from the recent data agree well with much earlier results compiled by Deacon.
