This article analyzes the essence of the digital economy, which is considered the main driver of global development in the modern world, its role as the foundation of the future, and its latest trends. The study highlights the impact of artificial intelligence, Big Data, cybersecurity, and cloud computing on economic processes. Furthermore, Germany's "Industrie 4.0" experience in developing the digital economy is examined, and scientific-practical proposals and recommendations are developed for its effective application in the context of Uzbekistan, specifically within the framework of the "Digital Uzbekistan – 2030" strategy.
