The word pornography has become insufficient. This work proposes a new clinical taxonomy organized into five progressive levels, classified by the evolving status of the Other and the progressive dissociation between sexuality, affectivity, and relational attachment. The Five Levels: 1. Informative/Educational Pornography — Sexuality as knowledge and relational understanding 2. Relational/Erotic Pornography — Sexuality as connection, imagination, and mutual presence 3. Hyper-Performative Pornography — Sexuality as spectacle, efficiency, and dissociated stimulation 4. Consensual Paraphilic Pornography — Sexuality as negotiated intensity within recognized consent 5. Abusive/Non-Consensual Pornography — Sexuality as domination, violation, and erasure of subjectivity This taxonomy integrates psychodynamic, relational, sexological, and neuropsychological perspectives to provide clinicians with a differentiated framework for understanding contemporary digital sexuality.
