Touristification in rural areas is becoming a problem in some regions. In this policy brief (Deliverable 3.2), we analyse some of the measures that authorities at various levels (from local to national) should take to curb its negative effects. We place particular emphasis on the importance of raising awareness among local communities regarding the management of their heritage.
