There are studies that show that the use of technologies play an important role in the teaching-learning process, and the teaching of a foreign language is not an alien to such influence. This paper presents the results of the experience of the use of the Mobile-Learning approach as support for the improvement of the capabilities of the English area of Engineering students of the Universidad Tecnologica del Perú - Arequipa. The research method was quasi-experimental. The results of the Student's T test show us the improvement of the experimental group with the Mobile-Learning approach in two dimensions: grammar/vocabulary and oral production. We believe that this experience could be replicated in other institutions..
