In 2013, Efrosini Protopapa, Danae Theodoridou and I were searching for ways to sustain the research and the friendship we had begun three years earlier. We wanted to keep meeting and working together at the intersections of performance theory and practice, despite living in different countries and in precarious conditions. Dramaturgy became our shared field of inquiry, and the workshop emerged as our main mode of collaboration.
