have recently published a very detailed E account of the distribution of two alternative characteristics, blue and white flowers, of a diminutive annual plant, Linanthus Parryae, in a portion of its range in the Mojave desert. It seemed of interest to make an analysis of their data from the standpoint of the theory of isolation by distance discussed in the preceding paper (WRIGHT 1943).
