This document is a letter from the California State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) regarding the Section 106 consultation for the Blue Origin Orbital Launch Site on Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB). The letter reiterates SHPOs request for additional review time based on a letter dated 27 December 2021. Following the review of all the information provided by VSFB, the SHPO 1) concurred on the delineation of the project Area of Potential Effect, 2) concurred on the determinations of eligibility for archaeological sites CA-SBA-934, -2147, -2835, and -4178, all of which are not eligible for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), 3) concurred that 27 farm complexes are not eligible for the NRHP individually or as part of a historic district, and the assumption of eligibility for the Lompoc Penitentiary, and 4) concurred on the project finding of no adverse effect to historic properties.
