Abstract

Overcrowded outpatient departments and paper-intensive workflows remain a persistent challenge in Indian hospital administration. This paper presents MedCare, a web-based Hospital Management System developed using the MERN stack - MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. The application unifies five patient-facing services: online doctor appointment booking, bill-number-based laboratory report access with PDF download, an AI-powered medical triage chatbot for symptom guidance, an A-to-Z disease knowledge library, and a bilingual English-Hindi interface.
