This study evaluates the level of digital financial literacy (DFL) among rural households in Jalna district, Maharashtra, and its impact on the adoption of e-governance services through the Aaple Sarkar portal. Using a structured questionnaire administered to 300 respondents across all eight talukas, and employing descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, multiple linear regression, and chi-square tests, the study finds an overall composite DFL score of 2.92/5 (low-to-moderate). A strong positive correlation (r = 0.673, p < 0.001) is observed between DFL and service adoption. Key predictors of adoption are smartphone usage (β = 0.318), online portal navigation (β = 0.291), and digital payment awareness (β = 0.247). Primary barriers include poor internet connectivity (76%), lack of awareness (71.3%), and language barriers (66%). Targeted digital literacy interventions, infrastructure development, and Marathi-language portal redesign are recommended for inclusive e-governance in rural Maharashtra.
