Background: Distal humerus fractures are complex injuries involving the articular surface and metaphysis, often resulting in significant functional impairment. Open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) with dual plating is considered the gold standard for management. Materials and Methods: This prospective study included 30 patients with distal humerus fractures treated with ORIF using dual plating techniques. Functional outcomes were assessed using the Mayo Elbow Performance Score, while radiological outcomes were evaluated based on fracture union and alignment over a follow-up period of 12 months. Results: Most patients achieved good-to-excellent functional outcomes with high union rates. Early mobilization contributed to improved elbow function. Complications such as stiffness and infection were minimal. Conclusion: ORIF with dual plating was an effective method for managing distal humerus fractures, providing satisfactory functional recovery and radiological outcomes.
