Asseaamemt pf the impact of proposed works on heritage assets The proposals have little impact on historic fabric and remove detracting elements. The proposed extensions are considered to have no impact on the setting of the building. What is important about the setting is the street scene with its large number of historic buildings. Indeed the removal of a detracting recent first floor extension will return the street scene to a more historic form. They will not affect the way in which the asset is experienced, that is as an extended vernacular Georgian Building. Where the new extensions are proposed there are limited places from where they can be seen in any event due to the presence of a garage to the west and a neighbouring building to the east.
