MESSAGE: Al Rahman — The Almighty A Qur'an-Alone MESSAGE on the Meaning of Al Rahman This Qur’an Study MESSAGE publication presents the first official MESSAGE in the QS-MESSAGE series. It is delivered by محمود احمد / Mahmoud Ahmed in the capacity of the messenger of Allah / God, the messenger explicitly named Ahmed by Eessa / Jesus in Q 61:6. The source of the MESSAGE is God through the Qur’an; the Arabic Qur’anic wording is the MESSAGE, and the English rendering is provided to communicate the meaning and correction. The delivered correction is that Al Rahman / الرحمن is to be understood and rendered as The Almighty, not as a mercy-only term such as “Most Gracious,” “Beneficent,” or “Most Merciful.” The publication credits Sister W.H. for the earlier formulation of this Qur’an-alone rendering and preserves the first documented delivery context from June 2004 without reproducing her article for copyright reasons. This durable MESSAGE publication includes the Qur’anic Arabic phrases, English rendering of key terms, interpretation of the delivered MESSAGE, correction of the misconception, mathematical proofs preserved from the original 2004 delivery, early reception and dissent notes, and closing mathematical/provenance observations.
