This record preserves bibliographic metadata and an institutional reference copy of the original descriptions of four coralliophiline species described by Sadao Kosuge from material in the Teramachi Collection, deposited in Toba Aquarium, Japan. The publication describes Hirtomurex nakamurai n. sp., Hirtomurex oyamai n. sp., Mipus matsumotoi n. sp., and Mipus sugitanii n. sp. The material was collected from Tosa Bay, Japan, by trawl-fishing nets, with an additional paratype of Hirtomurex oyamai reported from Bohol, Philippines. The work includes original shell descriptions, measurements, type depository information, type localities, etymological notes, comparative remarks, and Plate 16 illustrating the described taxa. Type material is primarily deposited in Toba Aquarium, Toba, Japan, with one paratype of Hirtomurex oyamai preserved in the Institute of Malacology of Tokyo.
