Urbanization has significantly changed the lifestyle of people, often leading to reduced physical activity, increased stress, and health-related problems. Public parks and sports complexes serve as essential urban infrastructures that promote physical activity, mental well-being, and social interaction among community members. This literature-based descriptive research paper analyzes the role of public parks and sports complexes in improving the health and quality of life of urban communities. Secondary data from research articles, government reports, and academic literature were analyzed to understand the benefits and challenges associated with these facilities. The study highlights that accessible green spaces and sports infrastructure contribute to improved physical health, mental well-being, and community cohesion. The paper concludes that proper planning, maintenance, and accessibility of parks and sports complexes are necessary for sustainable urban development.
