The drag-peak velocity v* falls as sigma^ (−0. 55) over sigma·omega ∈ 8, 16, 32, 64 in the CDN-166 linearised spintessence code (T ∝ sigma², v ∈ 0. 003, 0. 13, resolved interior peaks throughout). The CDN-168 quasi-universal floor at v* ≈ 0. 12 is refuted. The canonical v* ∝ 1/ (sigma·omega) prediction is not yet confirmed because the convergence criterion T ≫ sigma² is met only for sigma ≤ 16; at sigma = 32 and 64 the peak is still descending. The CDN-169 fork remains open: Branch-A non-canonical kinetics loses its only numerical support; Branch-B gains a consistent trend but not a proof. CDN-171 is pre-registered: T = 20·sigma² at sigma ∈ 32, 64, 128.
