Photographic Archive: a comprehensive photographic archive for the buildings was produced utilising a high-resolution digital camera with a sensor size of at least 15 megapixels. All frames, excluding general contextual views, incorporated a graduated metric scale. A plan showing the viewpoint directions of each photograph was produced, together with a full photographic index. The archive comprises the following: " the external appearance and setting of the building, including a mixture of general shots and detailed views taken from perpendicular and oblique angles; " general shots of the surrounding landscape; " the general appearance of principal rooms and circulation areas; " any external or internal detail, structural or architectural, which does not show adequately on general photographs; " any internal detailed views of features of special architectural interest, fixtures and fittings, or fabric detail relevant to phasing the building. Site Drawings: measured survey plans and elevations were provided by the client. These were checked for accuracy with the resultant data then used as the basis of CAD drawings, which are included within the final report as figures. The layout of the school during the historical building investigation in 2025, largely follows the same layout as to 1912 school. The lower ground floor had retained the central assembly hall and stores to the west. However, in 1959 plans by architect A.W. Glover shows a kitchen was to be constructed within the eastern wing along with a staff cloakroom and toilets. Further remodelling on the ground floor included the partition walls in the three eastern classrooms were to be removed to create one larger room. A further extension constructed to the eastern end to form a toilet block. The playground to the north of the school building had retained the brick constructed shelter which was depicted on the Ordnance Survey 1:2500 of 1961. In 2015 an annex was constructed to the north of the school building and was built using sustainable building materials and was used as further classrooms. Due to the modernisation of the school throughout the 20th century the vast majority of the earlier fixtures and fittings were removed. However, several features have been retained, including the Herringbone flooring to the assembly halls, and the moulded dado rails each of the floor levels. All classrooms to the ground floor had retained their timber side panels to the doorways and R20 had retained the blackboard chalk and duster timber shelf. The school has continued to be in used for education until the planned demolition of the buildings in 2025, which will be replaced by a new purpose-built school is to be built.
