On June 29, 25 state Attorney Generals and the District of Columbia sued the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to prevent the implementation of the rule defining work requirements for Medicaid benefits. The lawsuit focuses on the definition of medically frail under the substance use disorder (SUD) work exemption in the rule issued last month.
